Testimony: "When I was young I always knew and believe that God existed, but I really never really understood that He was interested in my life or had a plan for me. As a child, I also loved going to vacation bible schools around town - I was a "VBS hopper." When we first moved to Ada in June of 1991, I "hopped" to a VBS at a church on the east side called Fellowship Baptist Church. It was there that I learned about Jesus and how he died for my sin. Until this time I had just thought we died and that was it, hoping that God would give us all a second chance at life. However, my time at this VBS showed me that Jesus wanted to forgive me of my sin and save me from going to Hell, and that He wanted to be my Lord and Savior, preparing me a place in Heaven. I was nervous about the decision all week, and really felt this longing to go talk with the pastor during the invitation, but finally, on Thursday night the Holy Spirit literally stood me up and lead me down front. I wept tears of joy as I gave my life to Jesus and have not looked back since. When I was 13, God showed me that my life was meant for His work and I surrended to His call of ministry for my life. Since that time my parents, family, and wife have supported me and pushed me onward in my calling. It has been an amazing adventure, and I would not trade it for anything in the whole 'verse."

Testimony: “I grew up in a Christian home. My parents knew Jesus and took the time to make sure we would grow up in a home that following Jesus was talked about but also lived out. Walked the isle as a child, said a prayer, but no one told me what
those things really meant. Spent years believing I was going to Heaven when I died. I was asked to serve as an encourager during a Power Team Crusade, I found myself telling others about what it meant to follow Jesus and how to become a follower, when in my heart I knew I really didn’t know. I played it off at first, but on August 24, 1998 I walked into my youth pastor’s office and told him unless I got saved today I would spend an eternity separated from God, it was at 5:30pm that I confessed my sins, repented, and gave Jesus the lordship of my life, my life changed forever. From that day forward Christ began to stir my heart, I knew he wanted something more of my life. For nearly two years I wrestled with what God wanted for my life. It wasn’t until I was sitting in the tabernacle at Falls Creek reading the word of God, when he led me to Romans 12:1-2. It was that verse that God spoke to me and said I want you to serve me in full time ministry. I got out of my seat, accepted his call to ministry. It was the summer of 2004 serving as a summer missionary in Branson, Missouri working with youth groups from across the nation that God placed inside my heart a passion to connect this generation of students with Christ. Following Jesus is the best decision I’ve made, marrying Laura was next best thing.”
