DISCIPLESHIP
Common Hearts
Common Hearts is a new ministry opportunity where women with common interest and common situations meet for a determined period of time and receive discipleship and encouragement from one another.
Surrendering the Secret
Many women hide the secret of abortion deep in their hearts, and they are suffering from severe consequences. They carry a great burden of shame and failure afraid to reveal their hidden pain, and by doing so are forced to endure the long-lasting effects in isolation. Surrendering the Secret will allow women to release this burden and find freedom through 'redemptive community' while experiencing hope and joy as shame and failure are replaced with beauty. A new class will begin January 13, 2010.

“It’s Cool To Be Kind”
“It’s Cool To Be Kind” is a ministry of FBC where we live out Matthew 5:16. By performing random acts of kindness to people we encounter, we share the love of Christ. It could be anything from mowing the neighbor’s lawn, paying for someone’s food in the drive-thru behind you, or leaving a larger tip than normal. We are encouraged to give a Cool To Be Kind card to whomever you have helped, not for personal glory, but to let that person know that God cares about them and so do we.
